Hip Openers Workshop
Today’s lifestyle can build up stiffness in our hips – sitting at the computer, driving, watching TV.
We will work on a sequence of hip-opening poses that can free the hips, adding mobility and strength as well as balance. Expect classic standing poses, as well as others that may be new to you.
We will end the class with a pranayama (yogic breath) exercises. Come with an open mind and an inquisitive spirit. A strap, a blanket and a brick will be helpful but not essential.
Mat, strap, 2-3 blankets, 2 bricks (pile of books), chair (dining style chair).
Basic props or funiture can be adapted in most cases.
