Iyengar Yoga
Description: 

Iyengar yoga is a form of Hatha yoga that is easy for everyone to access. Whether you’re new to yoga, still in the early stages, or looking to learn more advanced poses, Iyengar yoga will inspire you. Iyengar yoga emphasizes precision and alignment to integrate the body, mind and breath. B.K.S. Iyengar devised the use of props such as bricks, straps, blankets and bolsters to help students attain poses or ‘asanas’ safely.

Mondays - In person classes
9:00am - 10:15am.
Ganges Yoga Studio. I am subbing for Celeste when she is unable to be there.

Mondays - In person Chair Class 11am-noon
This class is designed for those with limited ability who still want to access the benefits of Iyengar yoga. Most poses are practised on a chair and ideas given for a home practice.
I am subbing for Celeste when she is unable to be there.

 

Wednesdays - In person class in the garden
4pm-5:30pm
On the lawn in Ganges. Email me to register and receive the location details.
